He definitely gets inflated hype bc he is on Lakers playing with Lebron and AD, but he’d be a fan favorite anywhere. He’s scrappy and he’s a white guy who can dunk and throw some nice alleys. Yeah, Caruso's really having a ball playing for the Lakers. It really rocks to be a role player on a championship team. Getting paid a sack of money to appear in ads simply because he is teammates with the crown jewels of the NBA. He would be nuts to consider playing on another team like the Nuggets. Dude legitimately contributed to the lakers championship. Nuthin to knock about him. He may get hype as a Laker, but I think it has a lot more to do with him being on a good team and actually playing meaningful minutes on it. There are fan favorites on every championship team.
