No, absolutely no one would criticize Trump for saying something that only tangentially sounds similar to the word if it’s clear beyond all doubt that he’s saying something else.

That's a pretty big stretch. Pretty clear he is re-iterarating eager to hear. When cut to the one sound byte, I don't hear it at all.
