The funny thing about actually having been called the n-word, along with Oreo, Carlton, half-white, cookie, fudge, double-fudge, burnt trash and black trash as I was every day from sixth grade on, is that you can tell when someone actually means it and says it, and when some sack of crap like you is just showcasing your anti-black bigotry by being desperate to hear and say it that you lie through their teeth and manipulate a clip.
I’ll definitely criticize Biden when warranted. While it is too early for me to judge much, based on his candidacy, I expect Biden will be a B- president for me. Biden seems like a decent enough person, and that does matter to me. I’m not naive, surely he has his warts and isn’t the perfect empathetic Joe that he does so well on TV. But I also judge that he is a fairly decent and empathetic person. For some, that matters none, particularly since he is a Dem. The snippet you posted means little to me. I’ve seen the so called evidence of Biden being a racist. Biden is what he is .... and old white dude who grew up in a time where white people had some viewpoints and attitudes that would today be appropriately judged as racist. Yet for someone of his background and age, he has evolved as well as we might hope the rest of old white males would. Far more important than words, I look to his actions. He has proposed the most diverse cabinet in the history of this country. Perhaps you call that window dressing to hide a racist? Or pandering? Or inappropriately using race as criteria for his cabinet? I call it walking the walk. It’s far more than any president before him, and is certainly not the collection of old white dudes that Trump surrounded himself with. so yes, based on that and more, I see this thread about Biden being allegedly racist as laughable. and no, I’m not above criticizing him.
