They really traded Harden for Oladipo and unknown picks so he could play with his friend. He probably promised to come back if they did. He won’t be back
down 28 points and we still have posters on here who still thinks our team could do better than not tank. Like we aren't gonna magically beat teams, by believing in ourself and playing hard. We aren't gonna get a superstar via free agency (james harden era showed that) If james harden, one of the greatest offensive player gave up on our team, how the fk r we even gonna compete in the playoffs with this team, missing piece? pffft I really do hate posters that just want the team to just get in the playoffs for participation. Tanking isn't a guarantee strat, but it's alot better than trying to win with a sht team.
post of the month right here people finally got what they wanted, and now they realize that it’s sh*t the only reason anyone wants to tank is because we traded away the 2nd best player in franchise history and got nothing of immediate value back...we got some picks of unknown value and useless Dipo to those who couldn’t wait to move on for Harden for years, enjoy
short term thinking with u. I rather we suffer now and have a legitimate chance for the ring. who the fk wants a team that can barely make playoffs just to get ass blasted, u probably believe in that underdog bullsht cinderella run. For that sht to happen we actually need some talent, I refuse to believe that missing just wood led to getting ass blasted every single game in this losing sterak.
How shortsighted can u be to want to try and sneak in as the 8th seed and get slaughtered as opposed to aiming for a top 4 pick? The rationale makes zero sense. this team isn’t making the playoffs...u are basically wanting to see the Rockets finish 12th in the West instead of 14th because it’s better to fight or play to win or whatever nonsense keeps getting said on here...zero logic in that
The Jarrett Allen trade will go down as one of the stupidest trades this team has ever made. This is not one of those "hindsight is 20-20" deals. Most of us were scratching our head wondering why a bottom 5 pick in the NBA draft carried more weight with the FO than a budding center who could immediately help this team at a position of need.
If you’re going to keep screaming for a 52% chance of keeping a pick, maybe don’t admit that you don’t watch the games? I am fine with them losing but they need to trade for some youth and lose with exciting players and not PJ Tucker and Oladipo. I actually watch all 48 of every game, I would like a good product to watch even if it’s a loss. This sucks.
