Yep...and I'm sure that if MDA didn't believe it, he would have said something to the Nets about it. But MDA apparently only had great things to say about Harden.
I wrote earlier in the thread how my father always thought the fouls called for him were cheap. He just doesn't like him. Last night before the game he said he has to respect what he is doing in Brooklyn
It was pretty easy to cut through the media noise and trash leaking from Rocket's management for PR purposes when you saw the packages coming from Philly, NJ, Toronto, Celtics and Miami. Philly has Morey, NJ has MDA and Durant, Miami has Riley and Jimmy Butler who don't deal with BS, and Toronto management is as Savvy as they get. The Eastern Conference contenders knew he was a King maker which is why offers got larger and larger.
Pretty sure he hasn't just won over the Nets fan, but is being crowned their MVP. Harden is always reliably available (which cannot be said about Durant and Irving), can handle heavy minutes, and can be directly attributed to the Nets' success. It also helps that Harden is unlocking the effectiveness of multiple Nets player. DeAndre Jordan had 0 double digit scoring games in his 12 games before Harden. He has 8 double digit scoring games since Harden in 17 games. Jeff Green is an even bigger beneficiary, 2 double digit scoring games before Harden, 15 double digit scoring games after Harden.
Why LBJ got to be a fake nice dude? LBJ has done a lot for his community and the culture, why we got to tear a person down to praise another person ?
Did not like how Harden became passive down the stretch, Kyrie almost shot them out of that game. Reigning in Kyrie down the stretch is gonna be the key during the payoffs. How he reacts to Harden getting all of the love in the next month is gonna be telling as well.
Brooklyn after scorching and hot shooting in the first barely escaping with the victory due to bad defense, cold shooting/passiveness in the fourth and no rebounding is like a blueprint for the leaders of this team. At this point it's a pattern.... Refs and Pat Bev bailed them out tonight. I expect them to be great, one of the best offensive teams ever but fall short to LA teams(if both parties full strength of course). Rebounding and late game defense is just too important. Watching them play urban basketball at this top level and is amazing though, Kyrie is way better than I expected him to be after his Celtics spurt
I posted in the game thread I was joking but not joking When they fix their rebounding problem They will go into the 4th with 20 pt leads Then Kyrie can stat pad.....and they can win by 10 Kyrie feels confident that they (Harden or Durant) Can turn it back on and save the wins Last night...kyrie had three straight possessions Where everyone know he was shooting. Either stay on the back court or get the rebound Kyrie was going to shoot. (I see some of this in John Wall too) Rocket River
Last game of a 5 game road trip, everyone was tired...even Joe Harris had a bad shooting night. Not too worried about this...
Harden right now is the best offensive player on the planet. It’s really not debatable anymore. Only his running mate Durant is in the conversation
I didnt say it, I dont like character qualities of Harden but as a offensive player skillwise he is up there in HOF
Why yall got to be so polarizing... he is great, up there with best. But was he better than prime Durant, LeBron, Steph? I dont think so. Best offensive player on earth doesnt have game sevens like he did
Kyrie going rogue has always been my biggest worry, he was just jacking the last 2 minutes and not running any offense. I did not like when Harden did it at the end of games and he is a much better decision maker.
You might want to check their actual game 7 stats before you claim BS like this. Yeah he was much better than prime Steph and Lebron offensively, did you miss the Mavericks series.
