Yes, and he’s ending his touches with passes way more often hence the lower usage rate. In the same paragraph: “The big change is that those possessions aren’t ending in shots nearly as often. Harden is averaging fewer field-goal attempts (15.3 per game) and more passes (69.4) than in any of his eight seasons in Houston.” I think it would be interesting to see how often his passes end in assists versus his time here. Today though was classic Houston Harden because the Clippers switch everything.
The **** people said about this man is ridiculous. Over a game. Harden is a real one. He's not some fake nice dude like LBJ. The guy has always cared for and represented Houston. The people who have trashed his restaurant ratings are a bunch of low lfes.
I will keep saying it. The person Rockets fans need to hate is Tilman, not Harden. If Tilman was not running the show in Houston, James Harden would most likely still be a Rocket.
Does it matter? At the end of the day, he is going to win his trophy with one of his friends. Does it get much better than that? Everyone in the NBA knows how good he is which is why he was voted MVP by the players more than once
I mean...my question was rhetorical. Its Harden.....Im fairly certain its Harden. And as a Houston fan who doesnt actually care about the Nets, I would like to see James winning it as the number 1 guy
Exactly. They have won nothing since Jason Kidd played there. Now they are the favorites to get to the Finals.
Well...when the trade first happened, there were a number of Nets fans (including myself, honestly) who thought they gave up too much in the trade. LeVert and Allen were fan favorites, and the number of draft picks had many of us having flashbacks to what the team gave up to get Garnett and Pierce (a trade that really set the organization back big time). And Harden's reputation for Hero-ball had a lot of us thinking that he would clash with Irving. And then the question was...who would play defense? But all of that fell by the wayside when we saw how unselfish Harden was willing to be in the first couple of games.
Morey and MDA believed he was always unselfish and did what ever it took for the rockets wins and success
So you wouldn’t be content with him winning it as the number 2 or 3 guy? I’m sure he’d be happy about it either way.
right now with harden having the most impact, producing the most points, playing the most offense, and simply making everyone better even kd and kyrie better as well it's not even 1 2 or 3 but 1a 1b or 1c
