Wall doesn’t make his teammates better. Dude is just another Russ at this point. I wish we could’ve trade Russ for Batum. I hope we can trade Wall this offseason. Then again honestly I’m ready to jsut eat the supermax and get it ove with. Hopefully we don’t sign another supermax anytime soon. Few players are worth it only Lebron harden Durant maybe Tatum. I don’t even think Giannis is worth it imo
The problem with a supermax is that you need an owner willing to dive into the tax to win. No single supermax player will win it alone.
Nah- Giannis is worth it too. Probably Embiid. Definitely Leonard. Definitely Luca and Joker. Probably forgetting one or two. Conceptually you are right, though, it’s 10 or so players, max, that deserve it. Wall wasn’t ever one of those guys. And they knew it too. They just couldn’t help themselves.
I do t think Luca is worth it. He’s got a pretty solid squad over there he can’t do anything with. He’s a max but not supermax. I don’t think he’s better than Lillard at the moment. Joker is worth it. Kawhi and AD are worth it too but I just have a huge issue with guys with durability issues. Maybe I’m still haunted by the tmac bad Yao era. Or the Barkley, Willis and Drexler era I never though Blake was worth it
Luca is so young. I’d sign him to a super max as long as he wanted it to be for. I’d give him 10 at 460 if I could. He’s worth every penny they can pay him, imo. He could be the number 1 guy on a title team. Those guys are few and far between.

Giannis definitely isn't worth the super max. You will never win a title with him as option 1. Just look at what teams do to him in the playoffs. Fo ce him to shoot and it's over for The Bucks.
