Seriously. Give me 5 first rounders instead. Trading a veteran running back for a 25 year old stud qb is stupid. And running back production is far more reliant on o-line blocking ability than qb production. O-line has to be able to create the gaps. Without the gaps, even elite rbs will have subpar seasons.
Agreed. Give me a talented RB in the 2nd round on a cheap 4 year deal ALL day. Carolina has some young pieces on defense, including Brown and Burns. I’ve been hearing how desperate they are for Deshaun. Let’s see just how desperate they really are...
Not that I want CMac in a trade, but he’s in the same draft class as Watson and is younger than Watson.. Also is the best or second best back in the league. All that being said, I would much rather additional picks or trade him for additional picks.
When DW4 gets dealt, Texans will have parted with 4 of their last 5 first round picks. 3 of them being pro bowl/all pro players.
The level of stupidity from this franchise over the past several years is utterly shocking. The other mind boggling thing is the return we’ve gotten for those players.

Sir, I'm very uncomfortable with the energy we've created in the studio, today. I don't think he's going to sign a 1 year deal here...he might elsewhere. He's absolutely going to miss at least 1 game this season due to the suspension through Week 1. I think it's a safe assumption that won't be the only game he misses. We'll see what he gets offered on the free agent market. But I most certainly wouldn't franchise tag him and pay that price.
