He’s got role player talent, but hogs the ball like he’s a star player. The Rockets already have players like him that are mainly one-on-one type players on offense. Any role players the Rockets acquire should not be the type that demands the ball in a one-on-one situation to be effective. They should be primarily outside shooters and good passers. Neither of which Gooden is any good at.
Two summers ago, who was the better prospect - Eddie Griffin, or Gooden? Probably EG - damn, it still hurts.
