Yea. Strange article. Seems to suggest that renewables are to blame yet per their graph it seems that renewables are producing their expected share of 10% of capacity. Also, doesn't explain the whole who is responsble for grid's winterization. Basically moving the goal post to politicize the coal/gas vs wind/solar debate instead of pointing out that the grid is mismanaged and who is to blame for it. Wonder whose interests they are protecting - definitely not the people who are currently freezing and stuff. Thanks for posting!
I really do not understand why conservatives become public servants. They have no desire to actually help people. Perhaps they want to become famous but realizing they have no talent or integrity they figure politics is the best path?
Only you and your lying Republicans spread that BS. You either love spreading propaganda to the stupid or you should actually educate yourself a little. That post really does show how delusional you are about modern technology.
Did you see how quickly the big strong Texas republicans asked the Biden administration for those socialist federal handouts?
This cartoon, as with the majority of mojoman's republican talking points, was posted too late, as the facts have long since been presented. But hey, I suspect it still will get you a mega ditto on the facebook page you found it...
They call it socialism until they need it for our Texas weather disasters every year. Hurricane season will be next. It's the way they choose to use socialism remarks for others that makes them hypocrites. When they need a handout then it's fine.
Pettiness amplified when he and McConnell sat on their asses for the 2nd covid relief bill because "Blue states" (more like big cities in ANY state) would be "bailed out" by it. But it's all "unity and healing" first now, right? Upfront backstabbing later...
Wind turbines here work fine in -10C temperature that Texas got. It's nowhere near the Arctic pole so they aren't anything special. There is snow only once in 3-4 years and - 10 C would be considered also an emergency seen once every 10-15 years. So it's not the wind turbines that have the problem. It is the Texas wind turbines. I can't comprehend how Houston can recover fine after hurricanes and monster tropical storms that would kill everyone here but when there is some snow it turns into 3rd world country conditions. Without water, no electricity for 3 days and people lining up to fill buckets with water in the park. It's mindblowing.
I have a neighbor that was one of the head guys for Perry's presidential campaigns. To paraphrase one of the conversations we had on his driveway. There are two type of people in modern party politics. Those that are so cynical that they don't give a crap about the facts and will say or repeat anything to get the result that they want, and those who are so naïve and gullible that will believe and repeat what those people are saying.
WTF is wrong with these people, they would rather stick it to the libs and be totally wrong than just not shut the **** up.
