Not cooked at all. Dipo is being asked to be a playmaker, a pick and roll PG. That is not his game. He is better as catch & shoot, cutting SG. He can also iso depending on matchup but that should not be all he does. Silas is misusing him badly.
Rather have Precious and the FRP but I can live with this trade. Win-Win for all teams. Although why not Nunn instead of Silva? Rockets need a backup PG. I think I liked the previous JC trade proposal prior to this one much more.
Yea but we are kinda looking to get some talent any way possible. I'm not sure what Herro will/can be but i know what Drummond is. I like Nance but he will never be a star. Herro might become one. We need "stars" imo. although we definetely also need bigs.
You know i love KPJ and think he is a star in the making but i don't want to put the weight of a franchise on his volatile mind, yet
He is better than Herro. And Rockets already have too many +/-6'5 young players who need playing time. Especially 6'5 or under guys who are average defenders, Silas will glue your tail to the bench just like he has BMac. Rockets need 3-D bigs.
Drummond expiring contract is $28.8M, so more than likely will come off our books at season’s end. What comes to us....what goes out...determines draft picks of each. I doubt 1st round picks for our expiring contracts. Before someone says yes to 1st round picks for our expiring contracts.....would you pay full price on a rental? If yes, let me know the next time you want to rent a house or car for the weekend.......I’ve got one for you; for the cheap cost of a one time only fee of full price.
This Drummond talk is so confusing. The guy wants to win. That means playing for a contender. You know, the opposite of the what we are. You’re spinning your wheels, friends.
This situation going on in Cleveland with Drummond only proves one thing. The Rockets should have taken Jarrett Allen. The only way to fix that mistake is to get Drummond.
We are only a few games out of the playoffs with plenty of season to go. This is not the time to throw in the towel. You go and get Drummond and call KPJ back up. That alone points the team in the right direction. Then Wood comes back and adds the final piece to the puzzle. Wall KPJ Tate Wood Drummond
Anybody else feeling VO and Tucker headed to the Knicks? For what, not really sure. Noel finally seems to have accept his role, as a role player, he easily replaces Tucker's production. Others have mentioned Knox, prefer him because of his position. Like the Rockets, the Knicks have a ton of secondary guards. Don't want any of them. So Noel, Knox, and draft capital? Contract #s don't add up so filler has to come from elsewhere. Looking at this as addition by subtraction.
Eric Gordon for Gary Harris? Would be a dream deal Gary Harris - $20 mil per year until 2022 Eric Gordon - $19 per year until 2023 Gary Harris has one less year on his contract and is younger. Currently he is in a slump and Denver is looking to contend NOW. Harris not performing is a major factor in their underachievement right now and Denver does not have time to wait. Eric Gordon would definitely bring a calming and stabilising veteran presence to the young Nuggets and is playing some of his best ball currently. He'd be able to contribute straight away while being their reliable and proven 6th man, in addition to some extra girth and strength onto the team that is lacking in those areas.
