KMart is not with the club because he needs the experience in the G League, where he can play 30+ minutes and work on his game. He has a great shot at taking House's spot in the rotation later this season, I think anyone not named 'House' is looking forward to that.
I don’t like to portend a track of Jimmy Butler or Kawhi because those are all time outliers in terms of development in extreme situations (Pop-Thibs) . I was in a Rockets chat a few years ago and some guy in there lost his mind that I told him that De’Andre Hunter wouldn’t “easily have a Kawhi first 4 year trajectory”. This guy fully believed what he was saying and he claimed the Rockets should unload the package that had been rumored for Jimmy Butler for Hunter instead as he would singularly bridge the gap between the Rockets and the Durant Warriors in his first year. Just total lunacy.
Very interesting report. Gerald Wallace is an interesting comp. How about Derrick Jones Jr? It will be interesting to see what skills KJ can learn moving forward. Clearly that corner 3 is pretty important.
They got a back to back so it will be interesting to see if the Juniors can keep up that scoring pace. Especially Martin. Him being able to score like that consistently would be perfect.
Don't see him having the same nose for rebounding but early signs indicate much better lateral movement on defense and potential for a corner 3.
Yea man i like BT. I hope he gets signed on the main roster after we hopefully trade all/most of the Vets at the deadline. I‘d much rather see some of these guys develop on the Rockets than lose with old vets
