Gotta admit, I didn't think they were wrong lol.

The way this team is competing and winning is a huge and pleasant surprise.

    I'll happily take my L.

As long as Wall, Oladipo, Wood and Gordon are healthy the Rockets are making the playoffs. They might even be buyers.

I was emphasizing how poor of a talent evaluator Harden is.

You know, it sounds like the Astros. Sounds like the Texans. Doom and Gloom. You have to let things play out. National Media: "It is the worst situation EVER....it is going to be YEARS." The Rockets are maybe proving Change was needed.

It could be for the Texans...still in the early stages and we don't know how long Easterbunny will stay attached to Cal McNair's ass.

However, with the Rockets, maybe Tillman is not the worst owner EVER. Maybe Stone played a bigger part in Morey's success. And MAYBE, they got the coach they needed.

Fertits is a crappy owner and human being for the things he does on and off the court, let's not get crazy here. Just because he made a good hire in Stone (whom has made great moves so far) doesn't mean he is not awful. Sure, he is not the worst EVER, but that's not saying much in a league that Dolan is in and until not long ago Sterling. For starters, he is the one who pushed for the Westbrook trade to go through, which majorly set us back. Only Stone's maneuvering has allowed him to come out of the hole he dug the team into.

Minus Harden and Wood (and Oladipo) ..... they are the worst team in the league. They'd struggle to beat some G-league teams.

Wood moves them from dead last to middle of the pack ....

Well...there’s personnel issues. This wasn’t a complete team since first day of training camp. They lack a true ball handling backup PG who can facilitate the offense. There’s no big behind cousins. And Nwaba for all his defense which seems over rated to me is just not that good. Just can’t shoot relative to other teams who have decent shooting role players. I’m not sure you can play him if he can’t shoot. I’d prefer Gerald green to take that spot to stretch defenses. Or Ben mac to be honest. Tate is a solid player. He makes a lot of bad decisions rushing the shot when there’s no shot sometimes but I think much of it is inexperience in this league where he might have been able to blow by guys or post people up in euro league. Brown can be a good role player and just needs to focus on shooting. Harden was right this team isn’t good enough. But I think the players don’t know their roles in the offense well as everyone tries to be a playmaker. (Tate, Nwaba, brown) not sure why the team never settles with running offense thru wall and wood. Just so sporadic. But in their defense two “stars” are out. That would kill any team including the lakers, nets, jazz etc. once again a lot of fans are panicking and unfairly criticizing when there doesn’t need to be any.

Players don't know their roles because this is not the final team and they don't have real minutes or a real rotation. If Tucker, EGo, Dipo were not here you would start to see some improvement in the younger guys as they get more minutes and a more defined role. Can't blame Nwaba as much with reduced minutes and he is a minimum player. We have a lot of players that need to develop together being blocked by players with no future here.

I don’t agree. Playing time doesn’t affect decision making on the court or shooting. Just playing more doesn’t necessarily make one better as you suggest. Role players are there for a reason to fulfill a function. Players need to respond when their name is called regardless of minutes played that’s why they get paid for what they do. Not understanding roles may be a combination of coaching and the players themselves. Like Harden said just not talented enough. There’s just something strange about the Rockets mentality of evaluating players and constructing a team. Not sure Stone is any different than Morey since he is his disciple and the Spaulding move illustrates this. Small ball is alive and well in Houston. They also think you can fit pieces together with 3D guys on the cheap or hidden gems to pair with Harden. All of the major moves on this team were already decided by Morey and company before he left. Why can’t we have a real team with a real big and a real backup pg and long, capable players that could shoot. Lol

Lol, Tillman directly enabled the move that lost us our best player since Hakeem Olajuwon. Let’s not pretend that’s a good thing.

His first phase, trying to run the Rockets like a shitty chain restaurant, failed. It looks like he’s learning.
