You can’t get fired if you’re not employed. If the actress hadn’t signed on to a third season or any future shows with Disney+, this means she is not being brought back and her character is being written out of a show or maybe recast. Too bad for her, she needed to tweet her important thoughts on a platform
Most of the people who have unsubscribed in anger will be back. Keeping kids entertained with Disney is powerful.
I don't have a problem with Gina getting cut from Disney due to her insensitive comments. Even if you think the he/him crap is stupid you shouldn't post those opinions on social media if you work in Hollywood and want a career as an actor. It's just stupid. Just like Texans VP of PR Amy Palic, if you want to make liberal/anti-Trump comments about issues you deserve to get fired as well due to your chosen profession and place of work.
So I wanna keep replies to me spoiler-free as I just started watching this show with my wife. We are not Star Wars people, so keep that in mind. But does this show actually get good with a semblance of a plot? We just finished episode 6 and after the first episode, it seems like a formulaic episodic series only set in the Star Wars universe. Plenty of cheesy lines and cheap looking sets, too, especially for this level of production.
plot starts rolling in at the end of season 1 then picks back up mid part of season 2; Season 1 is a Saturday morning cartoon with no real plot. If you aren't a star wars people, if you aren't familiar with a star war, you better build an affinity toward Baby Yoda and hold on to that. This show is all call backs and Easter eggs. I think you need at least a passing knowledge of the force to really enjoy this show. you aren't the only one who was confused or disliked this show in season 1 btw. Even the star wars fans wondered were it was going. as for the cheap looking sets, watch this video. It's pretty fascinating about how they make those sets.
Having more filler than plot doesn't make for an interesting show... I've watched all the Star Wars mains, but not Solo so I'm familiar with the franchise. We'll continue watching it for lack of any other content. We signed up for a month of Disney+ anyway, need to make use of it. As for the sets, it's an interesting technology, but it still looks cheap.
season 1 was pretty forgettable till the last 2 episodes. i had to rewatch it all before season 2 cus i had forgotten. but season 2 picked it up, made up for season 1's meh-ness. bit of a spoiler doe... mando ded @TWS1986 @Yung-T
Mando needs to cast some hot young badass right-leaning (but circumspect) chick and everything will be right in the SJW world.
