It's actually worse than that. You see weasels like @Astrodome revel in making intellectually dishonest arguments. We all know Trump frequently contradicts himself so he can deliver two messages so these weasels can pick and choose whichever parts they need and discard the rest. The Trump weasels want to draw a false equivalence between the protests this summer and an insurrection but we all know the context here. It's just another pathetic episode in defense of a lying, white supremacist piece of **** and the people who supported him have a long look in the mirror coming. There's never in American history been a President more brazen in breaking the law and bragging about it at every turn. This display by these traitors in the Senate is just sheer revulsion.
I like this response. So fitting. Dan has his blinders on when it comes to seeing the reality of what his party actually stands for. Lies, propaganda, white supremacists, hate groups, incitement of violence, refusal to condemn a psychopathic power hungry EX President for his actions, and traitorous acts against the smooth transition of a free and fair election and transfer of power to the President elected by the people of this country. Patriotism is not a characteristic of Republicans. This isn't Russia, China, North Korea, or some other crooked regime. This is the USA. IMPEACH the sociopath!!!!!
And with statement like this, I don't see your blaming of the left violence for the Jan 6th storming of the Capital as sincere. Yes, I left that as a possibility. You know Astrodome, most of the MAGA crowd aren't violent and wouldn't storm the Capital and certainly wouldn't injure or kill others. I personally know a number of them. Many of them are limited in education and understanding. They have been fooled by the Trump's brand and by narrow information they consume regularly (aka bubble). They are complicit in the violence on that Jan 6th day as much as I do - we all have a little tiny role to play and aren't fully innocent. You insincerely blew that tiny role to a giant, placed it on the left violence, while at the same time couldn’t get yourself to hold Trump accountable. I think smart people like you are so much more complicit in the violence on that Jan 6th day on the storming of the Capital for your capability to but refusal to hold dear leader accountable.

I'm watching Trump's attorney and I can see how this guy is an ambulance chaser. He's primary tactic seems to be outrage. The Senators are laughing at him for his argument that they should have depositions in his office in Philadelphia
Interesting Graham just changed his vote to 'Aye' for witnesses. I'm guessing he's going to try to follow through on his 'threat' to call Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats.. I missed the whole count but it sounds like a majority voted for witnesses with Republicans Romney, Collins, Sasse, Murkowski and Graham voting for witnesses.
Looking at the way he is rolling recently, there is no doubt he will do something like that and pull a drama!!
