Deshaun is going to the Niners. Book it.

Deshawn just needs to start wearing a kufi and grow a beard while at team facilities, or get a Satanic Bible and parade around the offices at NRG.

Situation resolved in under 24 hours.

So Watson has gone from "I won't play for McNair/Easterby" to now wanting to choose his preferred destination? Wow. So it wasn't really about the front office personnel all along -- it was about him wanting to play for a team that can win in 2021... (just like Harden) This guy is flip-flopping all over the place -- and that's why you don't try to appease malcontents... because their demands just keep on increasing.

Caserio is going to get pennies on the dollar if Watson is allowed to choose his preferred new team. That will have a far more devastating effect on the future of the franchise than any of the other bone-headed recent trades.

Watson is living rent free in your head.

They all want to leave the Texans, who’s cares on the how or the why. It’s a dumpster fire.

Watson could sit for a year and still command multiple firsts. Everyone is seeing the Texans organization for what it is.

If only there were some reason why this BBS character was fixated on Deshaun...

Texans are pure trash. Anyone thinking Watson is to be blame more than cal and his bandits is just plain ignorant. Of course both sides are to blame. But this organization is Grade A trash and those blindly following it will go nowhere else but to the dumpster as well.

Cal is just as deluded as Drayton McLane was about winning championships.

As much as I hate cal, I’m glad he is digging in on Watson.

"McNair talks repeatedly about winning championships, says that is not a "tomorrow thing, it's today.""

Yeah right. The Texans used to have some amazing players, but all of them were traded/released just in the last three seasons alone.

Watson is the only asset the Texans have. I don't think a football fan outside of Houston can name anyone on the Texans besides Watson.

Exactly, JJ just Quit, Rootes quit, and now Deshaun wants out. The building is on fire and everyone knows it but some of the fans.

Until they fall in love with one of these rookie QBs and then Watson is done. You better hope they pick the right one because as gullible as Cal is, if Easterby falls in love with one the draft's QB's (ie.. his religious beliefs), Watson's ass is gone. They'll try to spin it as a "mutual agreement", but it'll be because the young QB falls in line with Easterby's culture.

So is Watson going to be traded for Tim Tebow and a box of rosaries, or are the Texans going to dig in their heels and demand two boxes?

If this was just a poorly constructed, losing team then I would be on here telling Watson to play football and honor his contract. However, this organization is a sh*it show. It is no longer just about a sub-par team on the field. The entire organization is crap.

...one high-ranking AFC personnel exec isn’t holding his breath. He believes the Texans will find a way to completely screw this up.

“Nothing Houston has done has followed a line of logic,” this exec says. “Common sense isn’t common.”

That makes sense for the teams trading for him. 3 picks and Tua isn’t enough.
Tua is not an asset, at all. Period.
Throw in Howard and an extra 2nd or two and that’s a start.
