I've never understood why it is at sporting events, schools, whathaveyou. Seems super weird to me.

Save it for the national team, maybe some other kind of 'Murica event.

 

I say no. These sports teams aren't doing anything patriotic or distinguished, deserving our anthem and National pride. Sports are just a game they play. Many just protest during it anyway.
