Semiconductor stocks rally as Biden plans supply chain executive order https://seekingalpha.com/news/36613...y-as-biden-plans-supply-chain-executive-order very impressed with the buyden gang so far. stonks aside, this is a real national security issue. tech bans to stifle china's progress have had the opposite effect - china strengthening their own supply chain/equipment ecosystem instead of depending on american klac/lrcx. time for a proactive approach, building up american manufacturing. it's not too late, with the exception of maybe asml, the best equipment suppliers are in the US, no reason why it can't have the best foundries again if government sets the right policy and assistance.
I've been holding something called BRQS since Mid-Jan and it keeps mooning. Anyone know what it even is? Thanks. Lulz.
Never underestimate the stupidity of a trader. -- Rudy T-bonds. I'm looking to buy some more semis and/or infrastructure stocks today or tomorrow. Still pissed my SWKS stopped out.
I got stopped out of F a while back, but am contemplating dumping my GM... but.... don't.... want... to. ARRGGHH... decision time. I had thought about just holding onto it and buying more if it dips a lot, but I don't know how the semi shortage will produce any kind of good news for them.
Weird that the news got it so wrong if it ends up being Joby. That being said, after doing more research, I hope it is Joby and not Hippo because they seem like they have their stuff together for a viable EVTOL business.
Joby took over Uber Elevate, didn't they? Uber was supposed to start something in my town, but never did. Kind of disappointed. But then it's not like I'd use it, so no biggie.
Haven't managed to find the call transcript, but NET's numbers seem ok, + they have an investor day tmr. It wasn't a blow out, but they beat revenue estimates and met eps. Long term hold for me, will consider adding if it drops to the 70s. A lot of expenditure is on maintaining servers at 200 locations, and every new service they add benefits from this at low incremental cost. They just need to keep executing, i still believe it can become a monster in the future.
Yeah i don't regret flipping rtp warrants at $4+. I think it's ridiculous paying so much for SPACs that don't even have LOI. latest mania is cciv, sure they may get lucid, but we don't know the terms, what if the Saudis decide cciv holders only get a very small % of equity, like 5%? A few months back we could get better prices on promising SPACs with loi. Reward to risk is deteriorating, need to be picky. Edit: actually znte is starting to tempt me to flip too. Bought the warrants at $2.04; it's been flirting with $4 recently.
Hmm... not sure how I missed this, but for those in the NIO camp : The Chinese EV Maker NIO Might Be Coming to America
Yeah, I remember the good ol' days. lol. I'm actually looking to grab these SPACs after the merger hoping for them to be a long-term hold instead of a quick turnaround.
ZNTE is rumored to be Lilium. FT reported today that RTP is going to be Joby but who knows cuz Bloomberg said RTP -> Hippo last Friday. Correct, Joby took over Uber Elevate last December so now they have all the logistics and business side of the air taxi business figured out by virtue of acquisition. Their target is to start air taxi service by the end of 2023 whereas Lilium is aiming for 2025. Even if RTP doesn't end up being Joby, I'm going to try getting in at a non-crazy price.
@Dr of Dunk any views on apex clearing? did you work with them last time? https://seekingalpha.com/news/36616...ii-gains-on-plans-to-merge-with-apex-clearing
