Without Wood this has to be done. Cousins has basically regressed to a 3-point shooter and is shooting below 40% inside 3 feet. Pick and roll with Cousins is a bit useless since he has not been able to take advantage of mismatches. He is still a good rebounder and a good passer and can hit some threes. But with him on the floor rockets offense is basically five out that is very easy to guard. Opponents either go under the screen on Wall or switch because they don’t fear Cousins, and our offense became heavily reliant on Wall driving past his defenders on isolations.

So what can be done to generate as much offense as possible? We need to drive and kick non-stop. If I were the coach, I would start House over Tucker. I know House has taken a lot of heat today but he is somebody who can put the ball on the floor and pass off the dribble. Size wise he is also a little better than Sterling Brown. So Wall, Vic, House, Tate can all drive and we can replicate San Antonio’s playing style. Today Miami put Olynyk on Tucker, that was one weak spot in Miami’s defense but Tucker was unable to take advantage.

House needs to be traded for a second rounder or possible a pair of them.

He isn’t a playmaker, he isn’t a scorer. He is effective being a three point shooter and defender only.

    House needs to start.

    On another team.

As far away from the Rockets as humanly possible lest his stupidity rub off on any of our young players.

FYI, Tucker was 2-3 from 3P and +12 vs. Heat.

    And likely gets that rebound.

House shouldn't even be on this roster. He should be on some cellar dweller team.

at the end of the game he was so surprised himself he finally made a 3 after like 10 tries that at first he forgot to do that stupid arm shot ritual, but then he looked back at the MIA bench and remembered. hi iq player

No , this team is middle of the pack , right now it's missing its main cog.

This team isn't near as bad as they have played the last 4 games since CW went down. They are a .500 team.

But House should be playing in Siberia ...

Danuel House shot 3-13, including 1-9 from 3, against Miami...

he is shooting 37% from the field and 30% from 3 on the season...

if Danuel House is the answer, then the question sucks

look at how sad and sorry the Rockets have become...we’ve got threads crying over the corpse of Boogie not playing more and advocating for House to be a starter as if that makes any difference after not being able to beat a below .500 Heat team missing Dragic and Herro...and all this coming from the same people who were having such a miserable time during the Harden era

Well, how do u like things now?

P.J. was shooting like 1 for 21 not long ago. House is a better offensive player than P.J., period. He is our best available option right now because he gives us another guy who can put the ball floor. P.J. literally gives us nothing on the offensive end. And yes, I think playing P.J. Tucker less, especially in the third quarter, would have made a difference in this game. It was a three point game with 10 seconds to go.

The Rockets were down 12 with barely 3 minutes left...they made a fake comeback to make the score a bit more respectable, don’t be so easily fooled

House checked in for PJ Tucker midway through the 3rd with the Rockets down 2, he proceeded to go 0-3 as the Rockets finished the quarter down 12...just stop

As frustrating as PJ can be at times w his offense, Danuel house is a moron. He takes dumb shots. He can’t hit the broadside of a barn. He doesn’t cut or do anything productive on offense. And he fancies himself a future primary ball handler.

They guy has regressed in every aspect of his game. All of Harden's chums have. House and Tucker need to be gone.

We should have traded both players when we traded Harden. Not sure why we are waiting around for them to get hurt. Dipo, PJ and House need to be traded soon for more picks or young prospects
