I've certainly gone from not caring to actively disliking the Texans. I want this thing to go down in a burning husk.
Been in a place for several years where I only tune in to laugh at them. Looks like I'll get to laugh even harder.
Barring Cal miraculously realizing he's an idiot incapable of owning a fantasy football team, much less a professional one, I see only one way Houston will have a competently run franchise anytime soon. We need someone to invent a time machine, go back in time and convince Bud Adams not to move the Oilers. As impossible as that is, it's still more likely than Cal not being a complete moron.
It’s going to take an apocalypse to cleanse this trash franchise. At minimum this thread gives me something Texans related to tune into....
Here we go, get ready to hold your breadth and kick hard--we can make it (sorry Jack, at least some of us will).
The saddest thing about all of this...watching our owner trust a grifting fake preacher to run a football team...burning it to ashes...is that I guarantee they will still be at full capacity in the stands next season. Really sad. Wish it would be empty. But this town loves football too much. And tailgating.
It would be cool if everyone stayed in the parking lot during games and no one entered the stadium to witness it
THIS. On the topic of ownership... https://texanswire.usatoday.com/2021/02/26/former-texans-sage-rosenfels-funny-story-cal-mcnair/ informs me all I need to know about where Cal is on the business scale. He's Bobby Newport.
