House acting like losing the headband was gonna help his garbage ass game... it's not the headband dummy, you're just absolute cheeks.
That third quarter. It’s hard to explain how they have entire quarters like that and the forth the other night. Hard to win games like that.
If they want to build around Wood and Tate, they need to extend them then. Right when the Rockets are likely drafting an elite talent in the lottery, will be when those guys are entering free agency.
We are owed a top 3 pick for giving Harden to a major market lol, every team that trades away a star player gets some lotto luck recently... I think Silas does a lot right and he also does a lot wrong. to be fair to him this has had to be the hardest job for a rookie coach. Seriously, the covid stuff means you can't practice like you normally could...then you had the harden drama...and then you have injuries. This year for me is a mulligan with him. I think he does have nice sets and can coach an offense but the team isn't all that talented and the talented guards (Dipo, Wall, Ego) all play selfishly...so yeah...
Silas going mad that they didn't get the rebound at the end of the game........well put Boogie out there.. i hate this small rubbish, it kills us
So PJ actually +5 on the night. And Oladipo is +3 as the only two players to get positive PER tonight. They did better, but it's not like they're well above their averages. Again, I'd rather give more minutes to these other players. I'm fine with losing w/ them. We'd lose anyway, at least we develop a core. TBH, not sure why we're still holding onto these guys. They clearly don't have a future on this roster long-term.
It really isn’t hard to explain, they aren’t a very talented offensive team. In fact I would say they are in the bottom 10% of the league. The defense is overall good, but that isn’t enough. There is no one on this team that is offensively special, Wood is the closest.
I've been extremely disappointed in Silas, but he has definitely been dealt one hell of a bad hand for a rookie head coach and I wouldn't be surprised to see him improve.
On the bright side that OKC swap with us is looking less and less likely so it's pretty safe for us to tank while Wood is injured.
Silas is an incredibly genuine and likable person... he also seems to get his guys to play hard and he seems to develop talent well... but his in game decisions are often baffling.
We gonna be good by adding a few kids from draft…just rebuild around woood-tate-kpj, let's tank. i dunt care anymore, it's painful to see we got grilled game after game, anyway witness tanking is far better for my health than cheering for a bunch of painful limps.
House is just awful. I'm not sure why we play him. McLemore doesn't offer much besides his 3pt shot. If that doesn't fall, he's pretty much useless. We have too many inconsistent and bad players in our team.
