Because he didn't receive any playing time after playing well. They crushed his confidence with that ****. Wall said something in an interview along the lines of "we see you can score, but you need to get other guys shots" and he has been playing like that.
Honestly just post up Boogie every time...then Wall comes down and chucks up an air-ball. I do love Wall's attitude and all that but man he's not moving the ball, him and EGO just come down chucking or look to play 1on1.
First post-up I've seen from Boogie in a long while. We need to stay in the paint and get back in the game the hard way. Who am I kiddin', it's not even possible.
it’s hilarious that this team still moves the ball just as little as the Rockets under MDA did, but the offense has been called “beautiful” and “fun to watch” by many...MDA at least had the excuse of having the greatest ISO scorer of all time as to why there was such a lack of ball movement
It’s because they need him to he a backup PG, if teams start playing him to shoot and he can’t get the ball moving or others involved than he is useless. It wasn’t killing his confidence, teams watch tape
Well it doesn't matter what the team needs him to be if he isn't that guy. I'm not asking Cousins to be a point guard either. If Mason Jones is a shooter and scorer first and foremost, so let him be. It's not like this team couldn't use scorers.
This is the closest to the court I have ever sat in my life, right behind the goal, and it's more fun browsing Clutchfans rather than watching this game.
