Injuries to him in the season prior and then Cushing in 2012 altered the course of history for that squad. who knows, "Texans worthy" could have become a thing and teams would be bringing in the Ninja post retirement to give Shaolin speeches before the game. It feels like my estranged wife has joined a cult and absconded with the kids (DeShaun, JJ... poor DeAndre got drowned in the bathtub). Granted, things weren't good before, but it was standard issue bottom-quarter-of-the-nfl human misery. Now we're in weird Twilight Zone territory where you don't even know what part of the nightmare is real or imagined.
