2nd Trump Impeachment Thread

After watching some of this it all seems pretty simple Trump never called in the National Guard which to me is grounds for impeachment.

How can you explain that away?

They won’t convict him. Trump could have been handing out guns and leading the mob with a bayonet screaming CHHAARRGGGE!!! and Hawley and the rest would just ignore it.

You can have all the evidence you want and it’s not going to matter.

 

And how did the former presidents' response differ for these riots?

 

Cruz is a joke of a Senator and lawyer. Guys like him are what give lawyers a bad name. Total scumbag in my eyes.

So the defense will be.... the George Floyd protests?!?!...

That’s a special kind of stretch of weird but I did say earlier his best defense is to claim the Marylyn Manson/Columbine shooting defense that he’s just a performance artist and his art is not literal.

Arguing that Democrats inspired George Floyd riots while it might drive FoxNews whataboutism talking points totally under cuts Trumps best defense. They are going to try and say that Democrats incited riots and then say that Trump shouldn’t have been taken literally as a performance artist politician protected by the first amendment for freedom of expression.

So either there’s nothing wrong with the Democrats role in the George Floyd protests or the Democrats should all be arrested for inciting riots in the wake of George Floyd. It cannot be both but I’m 110% positive that’s what we are going to have to listen to.

What a stupid argument we are about to sit through but the fact is it’s only about providing coverage on FoxNews to drive the outrage machine. The Republican Party and its propaganda networks are a true enemy to Democracy and the rule of law.

 

The time has come. Let's let history and the nation hold accountable those that defend 45 and what happened on Jan. 6th.

I think the answer is decidedly yes. He did a better job of hiding his true nature prior to Trump's Presidency.
