The sad part is that it’s not from a lack of effort. I think he’s trying, he’s just not any good offensively anymore. Not that he was ever anything special, but if that corner three ain’t falling he’s just a big bag of nothing.

Nah, there is something off with his body language these days. He knows he is a goner. The sad part for me is that I think he loves Houston and doesn't really want to go, but too much has happened.

I haven’t really picked up on that like I did with Harden. I know he’s not happy, that’s obvious, but I never really got the impression that Tucker was half assing it.

People age. I keep saying this but look at Battier, Artest, Bowen, Ariza at this same age. This is when decline hits even for guys that are defensive specialists. This is why he wasn't offered an extension.

I do hope they can at least ship him to a playoff team.

Boogie and him on the floor together is a guaranteed loss.

Tucker half asses it on offense, not defense.

Just look at his stats he went from +3 Net rating last season to -2.7. I dont care if a player declines with age nobody declines that fast without any significant injury keep in mind last season happened like 3 mos ago.

    Yup been saying that

also Oladipo Tucker House and pj is bound to get crushed. I couldn’t understand why Silas put that starting line up. Only reason Oladipo wasn’t added to the starting line up this game was because he was resting this one.

all I see is wide open bricks from pj and House. Passing open shots for worse plays and on defense getting beat by their guy.

Oladipo on the other hand is just jacking up 3s or long 2s every opportunity he gets. He isn’t even trying to hide it. He gets the ball and the movement stops then jacks a contested shot.

Not turning my back on Tuck. He tries on defense, his offense is just poo.

I dont see the point of having both Tucker and Tate together on the floor. Tucker needs to go to a contender team.

Okay, who are the players we hope not to see on the roster next year?

We were down 10? I think? Tucker comes in and guards Ingram. Ingram instantly scores 5 points on him on back to back possessions.

If your defensive guru isn’t so much of a guru you end up with a 30 point loss. Tucker doesn’t belong on this team anymore.

Tucker might be the most least productive starter in the league

I think that's best done the good old fashioned parenting way. Play defense or you're in time out!

PJ last year. DRPM = +2.10, ORPM = -2.59 (Clearly a premier defender, and a "limited to the corner 3" offensive player)
PJ this year. DRPM = -0.77, ORPM = -4.74 (Now a slighly below average defender - with age and/or effort affecting both sides of the ball).

It's past time to trade him for an undervalued or 'in the doghouse' younger player. Kenny Knox + filler? Others?

He needs to transition to the coaching staff. He was supposedly the glue guy on defense, but in his own words, "our defense has been shitty these last couple of games". I was worried what losing him would do to our defense but now I'm not so worried.
