I had kind of expected we would win one of these last two games
    Either the Spurs or Charlotte.
    Having lost both
    I HAVE A CONCERN
Even with Ego and Wall - These next 5 games will be challenging
New Orleans - Not a Cake Walk
Miami - They struggling but can rise to occasions
New York - Not the cake walk they use to be
Washington - Without Wood - Westbrook trying to prove something - 50/50
Philadelphia - They are playing well

We can easily got 2-3 (which would be 2-5 in the last 7 )

Next 5 games will tell us a tremendous amount about the season.

Rockets play no real contenders in their next 5 games.

I just wish we’d pick a direction already.

If we’re going to tank, then tank. If not, it’s time to make some trades for another big and a backup point guard.

the Rockets without Wall or Wood are a below average team...when both are out, this team is really a bottom feeder

I think 2-3 over the next five is as good as it's gonna get.

And that's if Wall and EG play every game.

Rebuild just started a few weeks ago mid-season. It’s understandable that a clear rebuilding path hasn’t been laid out yet. My opinion is we’re going to see Oladipo/Tucker traded by the deadline and maybe House/McLemore. Not expecting to get much back other than a first round pick and some change, but better than nothing. I’d rather we wait until the deadline to get the best deal than rush into something just to publicize a clear direction.

I hope they put a package together for young Nice Player. You need to see a good young talent come here and play along side Wood.

Tucker, Gordon, Ben, House, Dipo. Need to be let go next month.

Over the summer id try to trade Wall for 2nd and Salary dump. Let Cousins go. Reboot this team. Get it going in the right direction. Even if they lose game after game. They need to find way of getting draft picks, and build around Wood.

Starting to give up on the season and sports in general this year. Just get the L.A. vs Brooklyn finals over with and stop wasting our time.

We’ll, we have acquired 7 first round picks the past two months, so I’d say we’re doing a pretty good job on that front. But sure, why not make it an even 8.

    2-3 Agreed.

I understand the reasoning of waiting till the deadline to make moves, but essentially, we have a lame duck team in the meantime. They may remain mostly intact or many may be shipped off. Its hard to put your heart and soul into something that is someone else's decision and they are silent on letting you know what that is.

I like a lot of what you're saying and Wall is playing well but he is a highly negative asset. We are likely eating that contract. If I could lump a second or two with him next year at trade deadline I would jump for joy. I think it is going to take him being back to his current Rockets form and healthy over a long stretch to rebuild his value. I don't think this year there is any realistic way to move him. At trade deadline next year, he is basically an expiring with that horrible option. A bad team may find that the only way to get a star. If we don't send Dipo to NYK think of them. Rose is a 1yr rental. Wall may sign a creative extension with them that gives him 3-4yrs onto the end of his contract with much lower fees to even out his option. Guaranteed money and last payday would be strong draws.

Outside of the Philly game, they are all games that if this team is a playoffs team should win

Why on earth would Christian want to stay if the team reboots in that manner?

TEAM BALL, just believe in it and u will see the result. all the beautiful ball movement, sooooo gooood. unselfish clanks, rando ass turnovers, but the passing is the stuff to root for.

Spurs are sitting calmly where the Rockets should have sat. Clear as day.

When players get back healthy hopefully we'll be back on track. Any team without top 3 scorer will not look very good.
