It’s been awhile but they have great rolls, the fries were super crispy, and the chicken tenders were crispy.
The best fried chicken I ever had at a restaurant was from Youngblood’s Fried Chicken at Mykawa and Griggs. We ate there often (they also had killer onion rings). Youngblood’s started in Waco during the 1940’s and expanded all over Texas. Not all of them were good sized restaurants like the one I’m talking about. The place was always packed. Sadly, they decided to expand nationwide, which bankrupted them and nearly all were closed down at the end of the ‘60’s.
