    RJ Barrett is horrible.

I don’t want him. I’d rather finish the season with Dipo and try it make the playoffs then just get RJ.

but if getting back the Mavs unprotected frp and/or the Knicks first rounder this year then sure.

Keep the pick, route RJ and BMac to Magic for AG and Bamba.

We should have already done the deal. I feel his last game may have been the chance he needed and I expect more minutes and more monster per 36 numbers.

normally say cmon... one game, against the Bulls...

    but 14/7/3 in 12 minutes being +5 in a 26 point loss.

That said... looks like he basically played the 4th quarter. So scrub players on scrub teams. Could be g league quality for all I know.

    why isn’t he playing ever?

He's not bad at all. Please name another young center on a rookie contract who is a more consistent player than him.

Bamba is a sleeper in the last year of his contract. I almost want to sign him in the offseason to a Tucker type deal 24/3 rather now because; I truly believe if Bamba gets consistent playing time on a team like ours he will thrive and demand a much larger contract. He will be a 15/12/3blocks player in 25 minutes per game. He and Wood could also play together because they can both shoot from outside. He is everything we could want in a big.

Hawks would absolutely never consider that for either let alone both players. No team is trading their young prospects with high upside (both taken top 10 recently) early in their rookie contracts for an expiring 32 year old player setting career highs in only 18 game sample size & like you said health concerns. And I doubt hawks want a smaller guy next to Trae. All the guys they draft have been around the 6’8/6’9 range.

I like his potential fit next to Wood..... Magic are waisting him behind Vuc. Team has no direction.

And Khem Birch is also having a career season backing up Vuc.

If Oladipo commits long term to San Antonio and we want to keep our expiring cap space. An Oladipo and Exum for Derozan + First round pick would be worth it. You got a player for 2 months in Derozan which we can use for a sign and trade to lakers in offseason. But also I’m doing it for the first round pick. Incase we want to use it for a prospect or trade it for a future first rounder again come draft day to use it for Lavine or Booker when they become available in trade

I am really believing this. It puts us in excellent position to get the most bang for the buck while producing a young athletic diverse roster

If the Pistons were to get serious about offloading Blake Griffin, I think we could jump in there with something like EGo/Oladipo for Blake/2 firsts/2 seconds. All depends on how serious Detroit is about getting off of that deal, they could just opt to stick it out. Blake is a horrible deal and if the Rockets could take on additional draft capital + the shorter deal in Griffin as opposed to Gordon, we could be in solid shape once Blake's deal expires.

Wouldn't mind it because Blake might become revitalized in a winning situation. Sure he's declined but he also seems bored. If he doesn't who cares, you got more assets.

So the Spurs give us the better player AND a first rounder? Nice.

I honestly think it'd be more likely for him to retire lol but either works
