ANY chance we get to move him should be taken. He has value as a 2 way player and has been the x factor for a while. His contract and health are concerning. His value is up this year because his play has surpassed the size of contract. All is well with him. BUT, I can’t shake last season, his injuries, and his age. He is in prime so it only goes down from here. The trade he moves the needle for the Hawks in a big way. Everything they lack he brings. By adding a draft pick with him. We can get a really nice return for him and split up his contract into 2 players. Hunter role for the Hawks is much like Egos. At this moment Ego is a better player, BUT OO is the reason for the trade. We will not get a player in the draft as good as OO. OO is stuck on a roster with to many other bigs. Hunter and OO are both younger, full sized, coachable talents. In a few years this trade will be look back on as a moved that help both teams.
In the proposed trade they got 2FRP and Oladipo. That seems more than fair but you are probably right nonetheless.

Teams dipo won’t resign with won’t trade for him unless they think there’s a possibility they can convince him by a big playoff run or something that means Orlando and Sacramento and other teams like that are probably out of it
Dipo is better fit for us than Hield. Or team depends on 2 way players to maximize our system. McLemore is a better 3ball shooter than Hield but he is liability because of weak defense. Hield will struggle on defense even more.

Would love Nance Jr., he would be perfect for this team. But he's a hometown kid on a very good contract, doubt they trade him. Tucker and House is also nowhere near enough.

If the Knicks trade Barrett for Dipo...The fans should burn down MSG. I’m not even a huge fan of Barrett but his value has to be higher than a trade for Dipo
