I agree with you, that some things are better not said in public. That's an incredible fair stance to have (especially since it could lead to a legal case if it were the Rockets FO releasing that sort of information). However, I disagree that he was trying to throw him under the bus. That's definitely not what John was doing.

As someone else said, he could of said it in private to him (my guess is that he has already, since John seems to be very forthcoming).

McLemore's and Jones' lack of PT has been odd.
We have twelve SG's so, yeah, trade Mac; Mason Jones needs to play, though.

I like Jones, but undrafted rookies should not be complaining about playing time. He should be grateful he is even on a roster at all at this stage of his young career.

 

We also have to let other players shine until the trade deadline or else they’ll start asking for jones to be included

mJ deserves 15-20 minutes off the bench at least, his brilliant performance in those key games 1-2 week ago really turned me on…but one thing we gotta admit that we got too many guards, can't even imagine how we deal with those inevitable mismatches scenario when we meet LAL, LAC, 6ers, BKL.
It's time to land at least 1-2 legit PF who can carry burdens from wood n cousins occasionally.

Edit: This Feb n Mar Stone should be fully occupied w/ making calls on bringing back some new blood at 4 to 5……needless to say thiic has been long proved to be a square peg in a round hole, BenMac's D horrendous…as for DHouse his miserable low IQ would hurt this team one more sooner or later!

LOL Even when's he's wrong he's right. I just hope people get a life instead of breaking down every little tweet. There were plenty of people that wasted time shuffling through pictures of Harden and Meek Mill like it meant he was going to philly. It's no secret we are rebuilding. Older players will be moved as needed. Period.

 

Breaking: I just ran into brabra at the Galleria. Apparently Tucker won't let Mason Jones play Warzone in his Squad because Jones tried to snipe guys out of a helicopter too much last game. Ben McLemore ate too many cheeseballs while watching. Tucker is meeting with Jones again today to review the numbers from Jones' last few games.

Ben McLemore not playing at all to raise his own value in a trade doesnt make sense. Or Ben will look bad and tank his own value.

Right now it’s about building up the trade value of Dipo, Eric Gordon, Wall, Cousins, Nwaba, Sterling House, Tucker.

The pleasant byproduct has been winning.......but soon the Rockets will trade for young prospects and picks.
Possibly clearing room for both Mason and K Porter to get productive minutes.
