This guy is the real deal! Dream potential!;)

Seriously though, how did every NBA team pass on him in the 2018’ draft? If his potential wasn’t evident during his college years then the Rockets need to hire whoever helped him develop in Australia! This was a great find by the Rockets!! This young man has a bright future in the NBA!!

    Go Rockets!!

If Wood's out for a while, we really need Tate to step up in a big way. Tonight was a great start.

Interesting player. Scores totally in the flow of the offense. Lots of clean ups and slashes to the basket with a couple of 3s sprinkled in. Plays very good defense as well. Seems to be thriving starting and House is better off the bench.

Good job with him Stone and Silas.

What was the word on Wood’s ankle? We knew Wood was good, but the real find for Stone we didn’t realize is Jae Sean Tate. He is about to ball out with all that space. I saw him body up on Zion and score on him at will. I think he’s tougher than Tucker... maybe just younger. Wood needs to heal 100 percent and call up KPJr. I’m sure he’s got a chip on his shoulder too.

If we can figure out backup C, we should be okay with Boogie starting. Tate will just take over more offense. Ugh, I'm still deflated though...

Tate is quickly becoming the best player on this Rockets squad.

They already did. Assistant Coach Will Weaver coached Tate at the Sydney Kings last year.

The crazy thing is Tate is playing better for the Rockets than he did for the Kings. My mind is blown.

Steal of the draft. And, at 25, still young enough to improve lots and lots. Really excited for this kid's future as a Rocket!

I think I would like to Extend him for at least 2 more years:

"Jae’Sean Tate signed a 2 year / $2,963,678 contract with the Houston Rockets, including $500,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $1,481,839. In 2020-1, Tate will earn a base salary of $1,445,697, while carrying a cap hit of $1,445,697 and a dead cap value of $500,000."

Lock him in until 2024 or 25.
