Its okay, some good points. Honestly, I'm just not sold on load management, especially in a shortened season and criss-crossed. We've seen it before and players still get injured like Westbrook last year just before playoffs, so we can lower the risks, but it almost seems like consistency with a minutes restriction would be better than hot/cold days on and off.

Expectations are low. That memphis team is underated and they utilize their players well. Taylor Jenkins is a great coach

    Also Melo. Lol
    And Wiggins for that matter?

Edit: just saw another thread with these same reactions. But it deserves to be said many times

You can rest easy, no Dipo tonight.
Still a chance for Wood, 7 reserves voted in by the Coaches. Lets assume 4 Frontcourt and 3 backcourts. We have Davis, PG13, Zion, Wiggins infront, I can see coaches pick Wood over Wiggins.

Precautionary and gives opportunities to other guys further down the bench. One thing to monitor which is more relevant for Dipo is that you're ensuring that your trade asset does not get impaired aka injured.

    its def an evolving strategy/science

but it’s more than just preventing injury too . Say your team is healthy , but the other team is healthy and rested . It matters not only if your team is healthy but how much force they can bring . If the other guys have fresh legs that’s a big advantage.

I think the idea of regular season being Marathon and playoffs being sprint is not exactly true , but it has some comparisons . Olympic athletes taper .

then there’s the whole rhythm vs rest conversation.

im pretty sold on load management , but the extent is questionable. And it might matter player to player

This effects Gordon, too, starting then playing as the top reserve. IMO, let Brown start and keep Gordon’s role the same.

I totally would have played Wall & Oladipo against OKC and gone for 7 games straight, then rested them on the b2b and rolled the dice on the Grizz game hoping for our bench to shine and Memphis to underestimate us haha.
