Someone tell em there's no such thing as a part-time dog.

Dog misses shots still a dog. The goodtime veterans squad should know better.

 

Same old problem! With the hot shooting of last game, everyone thought they are the Currys and jack up mindless threes. Those misses leads to fast break opportunities for the opponent and we dont get easy good looks after they make baskets.

 

Hollering at the tester, sounded like.

 

"Regression to the mean," indeed. Hate to see our defensive intensity lapse like that. John Wall clearly makes a difference, collapsing their D and kicking out. Looks to me like we are a much better 3-shooting team with him on the floor.

 

Danuel House played some fugly basketball tonight, overshadowed by Oladipo. Terrible covered stepbacks, crazy off balance long 2's, etc. I've never seen him handle the ball that much. He and Dipo were way out of their element, which screwed up everyone else. Every one including Wood was forced to make plays from the top of the key because nobody could penetrate and nobody could pass. Our assist total was crazy low all game long. A point guard is an absolute must to make the cogs run.

 

If you have to rely on dumping the ball to Wood to create a play by himself, you have already lost. There's no center in the league other than Jokic and Embiid that can create offense by themselves.

Wood is essentially a more crafty Capela on offense that can stretch the floor sometimes. He's not AD or Embiid type of play maker. He needs a actual point guard to feed him.

 

When he plays well, it's so awesome. Then he does dumb **** like this or have shitty nights or can't keep it 100 for the playoffs and I'm just wondering when we're going to trade this dude.

I'm betting Stone sends him out, we don't need him.

 

And he is not a young KG on defense either. Wall needs to feed him by running effective P/R's and P/P's. There is no other alternative for now. Wall does need a reliable backup PG, but that will take time.

 

I have come to the same conclusion after seeing this video. He's extremely immature.

 

Never gave a dang about the loosing streak... In my mind i'm still tryina flip Oladipo. I hope he has a better game today. I don't care how many shots he takes. make his ass look good.

 

the covid mini two game series is creating strange scenarios this season. we're not the only team to struggle with the same team in a mini two game series. seems harder to win both due to immediate familiarity.

 

Well clearly we need a PG to win.
