This team is your typical over achieving NBA team that will fall short of a playoff berth.... The lack of star power is apparent.. Fun to watch on most nights though.. Not tonight but on most nights I enjoy watching this team...
with the delusion in many of these posts, you’d swear that little 6 game win streak included wins over teams like the Lakers, Clippers, Bucks, Sixers, etc the best team we beat was Dallas with no Porzingis, and the 2nd best team was Portland with no Nurk, CJ, or Covington...after that, people think we’re contenders lol

Ok maybe "contender" it's a little strong of a word, but I'm seriously not scared of any team outside LA in the west... Denver it's a great team as well, outside of them I think 4-10 is pretty even, it depends on matchups and luck, so if the LA teams end up playing in the second round I would say we have as much a chance as anyone to get to the conf finals, we can also get bounced in the first round though so there's that.. I may be overly optimistic, tonight does not change that for me, OKC is a good team looking for revenge...
What have the Rockets shown to say that they’re even with a team like Utah? For the LA teams to face each other in the 2nd round, that would mean somebody like Utah would have to finish with the best record in the West, and how likely is that? OKC is not a good team, they are horrible...heading into tonight, they had a whopping -7 net rating on the season, and without SGA, they are Washington Wizards tier

Here comes the tank. What's fun about this season is that whenever we have a win, we can toot that we are a contender! Whenever we have a bad loss, we can applaud the tanking effort. Can't lose.
We aren't a contending team. That doesn't mean that we can't win more than we lose, even make the playoffs, and have fun watching this team. While I didn't enjoy the game tonight (I don't have that much self-loathing), I sure as hell liked the previous game, which happened to be on my birthday. I'm interested in seeing what happens by the deadline. I have a feeling that we'll be making some deals. That could be very entertaining! See? I can be an optimist, even after tonight's debacle.
