Agony, sweet agony, how can you tarnish thee? I had visions of second round clashes between Duncan and Yao Ming. Oh sweet goddess of all things roundball, when will it be our time? True we have no identity, yet. Hopefully we will next time. Charges, dishes, rebounds and mid range jumpers are all i really need. Not turnovers, fouls, bad passes and misses, oh no, those are not for me.

Stevie Franchise is all heart, but wait he is so much more. True he has had many blunders that oh boy make you sometimes wonder. Some people want to know, when will Yao Ming take over this team? The answer is maybe never. Steve has always been the heart and soul of this team. For those of you who want Stevie gone, I hope you never get your wish. Yes, Yao Ming has unlimited potential. Yes, he will one day dominate the league. But if Steve goes, I can only see him doing good for some other team; he will make us look like the magic when Shaq was swept off to LA. Steve is just into the prime of his career; what do you want in return? Someone younger with maybe more potential, and we will have to wait and see if it ever comes to fruition. Maybe some strnger and bigger that needs a new look, or someone thats looking for a quick buck.

Please keep this team together. It was only Jeff Van Gundy's first year. I keep seeing JVG talk about how coaches like Phil Jackson gets his players to play well. When JVG talks about his team he says he is just trying to help them or something along those lines. I believe JVG has a dream for this team. He wants to make this team truly his own. He made his coaching name in the Big Apple; he wants set it in stone here in HTOWN. At least give him one more year till we wonder what's going on. Give him onw hole offseason to gameplan next year, and give him a few players that know their role. JVG has an identity ready for our Rockets. When will they understand that? Again maybe never, but I will surely wait and see.

I am going to agree, Houston should keep YM and SF...and:

    1. move KC to backup center
    2. keep MT at backup power forward
    3. move JJ to starting shooting guard or backup shooting guard if they can sign (EG or BB)
    4. move BN to the starting forward position

    5. bring in a backup point guard (BS)
    6. bring in a future, starting shooting guard (EG)
    7. sign/trade for an athletic, starting power forward (CB, TM)
    8. draft an athletic small forward or keep EP

In summary, I look forward to one free agent signing, one trade, and this summer's draft. (On a partly-related note, it really is time for Toronto to trade Carter to another team -- not Houston.)
