Bad luck year. Harden barely played with any of these people cuz of COVID protocols and then they got the Lakers with no chemistry and he decided it was done.

Even with Harden I don't think we are a championship team. He does have a better shot in Brooklyn just by being in the East and with an owner who's willing to spend.

I'll believe we can contend when we actually beat a team with a winning record. Don't get soo excited for us beating three of the worst teams in the league. 1 team missing half its roster.

Until you use his contract to make the money work in a trade for a superstar

The "Harden doesn't have any help" crowd was basically Harden, KD and his mom, I don't think they're still active on the BBS.

Kevin Durant probably still lurks around here though.

He's got a better chance of winning in Brooklyn. They are struggling on defense and need roster reinforcements but with their high end talent they'll be in the thick of it.

This team is too young and not ready to contend for a title, with or without Harden. The Harden/Morey era had run its course and it was time for a reboot anyways. Stone did a good job with the trade and should continue to turn over the roster whole keeping the youngins and not committing any more big salary to vets who aren't part of the long term rebuild. Enjoy the ride.

However he felt, I’m glad he felt that way and decided to leave.

He was more interested in building up rapper friends with honeybuns rather than building up his teammates

    There. I said it.

    Take that for data.

wall and wood have also missed games, but we've still kept winning. the chemistry on this team atm is the best it's been since our 2018 65win season. everyone playin for each other. feels like even if we start losing games, everyone will still be having "fun" nonetheless because of the style of play

Too young? This is a veteran team.

That's gonna lose in the first round. And is likely not winning a title with Harden on the team still. KD, Kyrie and Joe Harris are miles better than anyone on this roster besides C Woods. And Brooklyn still has the buy out and trade deadline. If they get Andre Drummond on that team, it fixes a lot.

    My exact opinion
He quit in preseason, in the worst way by disrespecting teammates, staff and being a whiny mommas-boy.

"Now he has his super team - it is championship or bust".

I am not in the "I want Harden to the a ring" band. I am in the ROCKETS to have a ring band.

Who are you talking too exactly?

I have no idea why so many people are making declarations 20 games into the season.

Your post made me want to check it out. We are older than I expected but pretty much league average.

    Rockets Average age : 26.9

NBA average Team age : 26.2
    Oldest : 29.2 (Lakers)
    Youngest : 24.3 (Memphis)

Well sure, if they get a 27 year old guy averaging 19 points/15 boards, that will certainly help. Why would Cleveland just hand them a guy like that? Drummond leads the league in rebounding. And the Nets have no more assets left to trade.

Did you just miss how he played defense in the playoffs last year?

    Or when CP3 was here.

Kept saying we'd be good and fun to watch as soon as we got rid of that loser.
