Genius level coach Dantoni will never be a head coach again. Guess all 30 teams are dumbasses too.

Gentry won 54 games with the Suns, 1 less than Dantoni with the same team. Do you know what replacement level means? I'm not saying Dantoni is a terrible coach, he is just replacement level.

    Dantoni = McHale = Gentry

    Replacement level placeholders

    Silas is above replacement level.

Mcahle also lost in the first round, twice. Once with Dwight Howard. Of course if you put Cp3 on those teams that would work LMAO. Okay dude, let me tell you something special, no coach wins without talent on their squad, the truth is the only "over achieving" Mike could have done was beat the KD Warriors , the GOAT team and he would have done it had Cp3's hamstring not given out.

There was also the 61 level Spurs team. My point is the compeition in the west was higher when Dantoni came in, not lower. There was also the OKC Russ Thunder who were better than that Lillard squad who we LOST to. Im talking about the playoffs. Honestly Mcahle is lucky to have ever made it past the second round here. Dantoni's teams did so with ease.

Who hated each other? Austin Rivers LMAO. No one hated each other. Harden and Morey left partly because Mike wasnt here. They played hard for Mike.

Silas led the #1 offense of all time last year and without him they look terrible.

This year with a completely different cast Silas is leading the #1 defense in the NBA (kudos to coach Weaver as well). This shows versatility. Silas is not a great offensive coach or a great defensive coach. Like Stone said about what they were looking for, Silas is just a great coach with high intellect that can adjust to his personnel.

Meanwhile, under Dantoni, the Rockets defense completely fell off the earth when coach Bzdelik left. Which begs the question, what the hell was Dantoni even doing?

Mike did such a great job that the two best friends who were giddy to play with eachother both requested a trade and want nothing to do with eachother anymore, leading to the entire team and franchise blowing up. To turn brother against brother, that is quite the accomplishment.

Gentry was using Mike' system God damn. He is not replacement level, the man literally changed the NBA.

Nope. You are stupid for saying this, none of those other two guys are going to the HOF.

LMAO Silas has gone on won 6 game win streak against weak/covid ridden teams and that suddenly makes him better than Mike, unbelievable. Mike had Cp3 and Harden, beat a loaded Warriors team(TWICE) without either of their co stars. Mike had Eric Gordon score 50 on the Jazz without Harden or Westbrook against a red hot jazz.

Tell me does a pee wee level coach lead the league in out of time out efficiency plays?

    Educate your godamn self.

LMAO Westbrook went out and said it wasnt because of Harden that he left. Harden said from his own mouth that Dantoni leaving had a lot to do with why he left. Both guys like Dantoni a lot. Turn against each other, haha this is sooooo wrong. LOL also no mention of him getting Tillman your leader right?

is this a trick question? the year nash joined the suns, they beat their over/under by something insane like 18 games. they were supposed to maybe be a playoff team and won 62 games and made the conference finals.

the next season amare missed the whole year and their over/under was 43.5, they were supposed to maybe be a playoff team, and they beat it by 10 games and made the conference finals again.

beat the over/under by 6 games the next season.

first year with the rockets, over/under something like 47 games, outperformed by 8 games and made the 2nd round.

even after people had a chance to adjust to the first year, in his 2nd year with us he beat the over under by 9.5 games and had one of the most dominant teams ever.

Regardless of talent, 65 wins is overachieving unless you have a big 3.

LOL they have been wracked with injuries and covid, they will be fine.

They are doing this doing switch everything which Mike also ran here LOL. Silas has the 16th offense in the NBA.

LOL we had a top 10 defense last year, try again.

I'm becoming optimistic on Silas, especially since he simplified the defensive scheme. It's important to note though, that Dallas also tweaked their roster in an attempt to get better defense at the expense of offense. Reminds me of when Cuban immediately dismantled the championship team. I agree with the philosophy that you need to always try to get better, but with Dallas it seems to result in notable backfires (to my endless joy). We'll definitely get a better ability to judge Silas after we play some good teams.

Regardless, no need to tear MDA down to appreciate Silas. MDA has infinitely-discussed flaws, but took us to great success, helped out in the community, and would almost certainly be a champion if it wasn't for the hip check and the hamstring. If Nets are able to improve their roster, they're definitely a championship contender. Either way, I'm sure MDA is just happy to not work for TF because nobody likes working under a boss with that personality, although some will tolerate it because it's still their best option.

They are not switching everything, they use a mix scheme.

They were not top 10 in defense last year, they were 14th.

Dumb and liar is not a good mix.

Bro what? You can use anyone' system LOL, you just have to copy their plays. Its all their for the world to see. If they just copied his system, why didnt they have the level of success he did? Im sure anyone could have gotten Steve Nash MVPs right? Im sure anyone could have made Linsanity happen right? Im sure anyone could have gotten 65 wins, and taken the KD warriors to 7 right? Miss me with this crap.

I wanted Silas in 2016. Would've developed Harden into more of a team player instead of getting spoiled rotten by D'Antoni. Too bad Les stepped in and forced the D'Antoni hire.

Gentry literally had the same level of success, they won the same number of games. McHale literally had the same level of success, he won the same number of games. What are you even arguing? Go back to the tanking thread where your dumbass can at least join your dumbass brethren.
