Trump was reportedly "delighted" by the amount. That figure only covered the South Carolina attorney's individual services. More lawyers, research, and miscellaneous legal fees were not included in the number. When Bowers presented a total budget of $3 million, Trump was incensed, the outlet reported. He reportedly called the attorney and the two negotiated down to $1 million.
Who the hell just drops TWO THIRDS of their cost just like that from a bullying prospective client?? If he's that bad at negotiating, why the hell would you want him potentially arguing your innocence in front of the United States Senate? I wasn't really planning to watch much of the impeachment, but damn this might be too good to pass up. This lawyer obviously is horrible, and it's going to be a sh$t show.
