Uhhhh....if they can be all time level great at it, sure? The shot only has value for ceratain guys in the league that's it, its not really an attainable skill like that.

I mean, not every body can be Cp3. He's one of the best the game has ever seen and one of the GOAT mid range artists.

That should really just apply in the clutch though, like Silas wanted. And it should be the one who's really good at it.

You should really watch more 90s basketball.

I knew you were at least partly tongue in cheek, the "but but but" was fairly obvious.
I was actually partly tongue in cheek myself.

But as to "playing him 10 more minutes and you will wear him out/get injured", well things can happen at any time you're out on the floor.
He only played 26 minutes tonight, plus he's a young guy only averaging 33 minutes on the year anyway.
I sure hope we don't have to worry about "load management" with Wood already!

I like giving the bench players extra minutes, but EVERYBODY needs practice of playing together.
I'd like to see a Wall, Wood combo on the floor against the other teams 2nd unit some.
Maybe it'd make it easier for Wall to throw an alley-oop to CW!

To me worrying about giving a 25 yo player who's at 26 min an extra 5-6 when he's not on a back to back and only at 33 min per for the year is pretty much a non-factor.

I just hope we have some more games like this when we can talk about blowout minute allocation!!!

Like 2017-18 Pacers weird. I think the Pacers has a better defense than ours in 2018, even though ours was statistically considered good but pretty average.

Being an efficient mid range shooter in today's game is like.....high 40s or above. Like high forties. I think telling dude to get better from 3 for a skill that wont help them as much will get them paid less, my opinion.

Do you not think CP3s mid-range game helps him? Do you think it is useless for CP3?

Don't want to jinx anything but wouldn't it be fun if this years Rockets end up being the 2004 Pistons. We're honestly a Healthly Boogie and completely conditioned Dipo and Wall away from having 4 all stars and a 6th man of the year joined by high defensive iq work horses and a great young coach.

Its amazing for him. But ....I mean, not everybody can be Cp3. Know what I mean? Even Lebron himself cut out alot of his mid range in favor of Morey ball. It just helps with his efficiency, since he isnt super amazing at it. I would never chastise him for taking it because he''s Lebron, but I would encourage him taking it in the clutch more often than not. It's just a matter of some guys being good at it and some guys arent. Now floaters....and runners....that's the shot where i think dude's can really make their money. You are already seeing now, I think dude's in the league are getting better at that shot(though im just eye testing that one haha).
