wonder how the city will react to deshaun watson not honoring his contract and asking for a trade, basically setting up cullen to fail

More players have a chance to showcase their slills. Last year was wait for harden to pass you the ball or wait for harden to make or brick for the rebound.

Just a little more diversity thisbyear.

The biggest change is we have versatile players for a change and everyone has the option to make a read to pass, drive or shoot. It always felt like everyone felt obliged to put up a bad shot when Harden passed them the ball. Guys have so much more opportunities to function within the offense without Harden and it makes us wayyy less predictable

Harden couldn't cope with the fact that a new coach wouldn't cater the offense to him, this team plays TEAM BASKETBALL ON BOTH ENDS OF THE FLOOR. And please keep the PnRs to a minimum, they're fine at the amount they're at right now with Wood, he doesn't set great picks (too skinny) .

You can see the difference when Cousins sets picks and Woods. I hope Silas keeps the rotation deep in the playoffs. This will keep the quality minutes pushed around. Love the way everyone makes effort plays only 1/4, into the season.

Its refreshing to see the entire offense involved in a possession though. With Tmac and Harden everyone was caught watching but with this current team it looks legit. We don't have the cohesion or star power that the other top teams have but you can't deny the sense of purpose when these players take the court.

Sometimes changing is a good and refreshing thing. We play differently and are winning at the moment. Once upon a time, a younger Harden was driving and slicing, and that was fun. But as of late, the whole team was so tied with the style of Harden ball, lot of yo-yoing and too cool for school kinda stuff. It's just different now. The expectation is also a lot lower. So not bad to watch them right now. Stress level is lower

It's nice to have an owner who just shuts up and listens.

Harden did what was best for his career. Team ball unfornately would have harden sacrificing his numbers and being screwed from making all-nba and all star teams. If Harden was a more popular player with the media he could afford too sacrifice his stats

I like that we dont know how good the squad can be. With Harden we were always wondering if something was wrong because he wasn't going off for 50pt triples doubles. 25pt games from Harden we would have meltdowns.

Harden is a great player but the burden to root for him was exhausting.

we're having fun now even if Rockets aren't contending..

    or are we!?

Its nice to see the ball movement and everyone being involved in the offense since we traded the dribble brothers.

Previously we don't win often when Harden's not playing well, too dependent on a single player. Now we have multiple players that can go off on any given night and we win.

What are the odds of Harden driving the lane while Boogie is in the paint when they play next month ?

I see a whole lot of stepbacks .... or an ejection.

3 of the 5 shooting better from 3 than Harden.

I like seeing us getting some easy buckets that are being thrown down with 2 hands!
