We are a fun, scrappy team and probably will make the playoffs. But we are closer to the Aaron Brooks led rockets, than a title contender, unfortunately. We don't have the firepower to match the main contenders.
Pump the brakes. Let’s just enjoy the win streak and beat a few playoff teams before we start thumping our chests and passing out high fives. Getting Oladipo to replace some of his production, 4 firsts, and 4 swaps is looking good so far. (I wouldn’t mind squeezing another first or trying to squeeze two out of Dipo, but that’s just me) 6 first and 4 swaps for Harden would be a haul. Can we make the playoffs? I think so. Are we an elite team or do we have elite team potential? I’d say no I don’t think so unless Stone can trade for another significant player using our newly acquired assets. I’m enjoying watching this team scrap and play with that chip on their shoulders though. Eric Gordon says this is fun! I believe him.
Why is Harden still living rent-free in so many CFers' minds? I don't get it. Move on from the relationship.
As of today, the ONLY team in the West that I feel is deeper and stronger is the LAL. LAC, DEN, PORT and UTAH are all pretenders. If they stay HEALTHY, The Rockets will make another move and get better.....that move will determine how far they go this yr. AND NEVER FORGET THE YOUNG 86' ROCKETS AGAINST THE MORE EXPERIENCED LAL!
LOL you are so outa touch with reality. Are you talking about the 86 rockets that had 3rd year sampson and 2nd year HAKEEM??? Unless the player you think we can get is lebron, this team is at best first round fodders
The Rockets are better now than they were earlier in the season with Harden. Maybe not so much talent-wise, but definitely chemistry. He said it himself — you need both and the chemistry clearly wasn’t there. Just be happy that we are in a better place, and not hostage to a star player who doesn’t want to be part of the team. And “Harden only fans” can be happy that he’s where he wanted to be. Win, win!
There is always a .0001%. This year I'd say it's more like .01% cuz all the stars could catch Covid and we could win.
If the last 3 years with Tillman have taught you anything, we will make a move but it won't be to get better. LTS is coming at the deadline whether you like it or not.
hey guys, i hadn't seen anyone bring this up but what if harden had decided to stay with these dogs? what do you guys think?
