Where is Kurucs? I hope he is getting help like Porter Jr? He has good potential as a backup 4. He's not a softy on the court and he can defend pretty well around the basket with his 6'9" frame.

Kurucs is an afterthought on this team.

I hope you're right and he is similar program because Kurucs history of domestic violence was more unsettling IMO.

Yeah it’s obvious they have no plans for kurucs. I thought he was intriguing. I guess the rockets management thinks otherwise. He’s very active. High motor player. Couldn’t shoot a lick, though

Shooting can come around for some players with time and practice. I like your thoughts.

Cut him and sign a true center or Gerald Green.

Give Kurucs Time, he can shoot. He looks confused to where his Teammates are.

Even David Nwaba took a lot of time and struggled a lot. Now looks comfortable coming off the bench. And can even shoot now, looking like Wesley Matthews.

Given how he reacted to his locker being moved, I wonder how well Porter's going to take being sent do the Vipers.

I'm guessing thats kind of the point.

You can't keep him around if you're worried he's going to blow up at the slightest unintentional sign of "disrespect".

Part of working collectively with other people is learning that in life, every once in a while you have to eat a s**t sandwich and pretend that you don't mind.

Learning to deal gracefully with disappointment and not throwing a tantrum is part of growing up.

Eating a d-league turd is part of getting his head right.

The g-league is played in a bubble, right?

not sure if it’s good to send a mentally unstable person Into isolation. Might not go well.

In a bubble, no less. It really is like being sent to exile.

i think you all are both right but i think he was kept for length. he's the only "big" on the roster besides Wood and Cuz. otherwise he'd have gone too.

same with mason, team is short on primary ball handlers so he gotta stay. but it's deserved so i'm for it regardless.

I'm assuming this is part of the plan to get him where he needs to be...mentally, physically, and hoopswise...we don't know all that's being done for KPJ. In addition to caring what happens to him as a human being, KPJ is potentially an important asset/player. Sans issues, Kevin would have been a lottery pick. That's the kind of talent he has @20 yrs old. In addition the Rockets are working on chemistry/getting guys trade value up/recovering from injuries. This is where KPJ needs to be at the moment. Hasn't basketball been one of the few reasons he's still alive. Needs to be playing for numerous reasons. Part of his program.

I'm sure they have a step by step plan with Porter and this is no surprise to him. The locker room incident was a surprisingly disrespectful move by his former organization. Remember that Silas and Stone were saying we are going to look after this young man's life first and basketball second. The bubble is not isolation from everyone, it is isolation from clubs and restaurants and such. When both player and organization believe he has taken the next step he will be brought back to the team.

Is he back with the Vipers? I really liked Spalding and hate that we never gave him a chance. He has all the tools of a big that we need.
