Are stats and results not arguments? Woods is a very good player? Im sorry for not saying he can be better than Giannis? Its not like Im rooting for him not to be.
Giannis can lock down the paint and has a defensive gravity. Wood often misses rotations and teams don't scheme agains him as a help side defender. I'll agree that Wood is a plus on ball defender and that Wood is quietly better than anyone expected offensively but any conversation that compares him right now to one of the most dominant players on both sides of the ball the last few years is very overblown...and I say that as a big Christian Wood fan - just not a delusional one.
