Are you telling me that shooting 42 percent from the field is consistency? If that's the case, then compare mobley and jj's stat and mobley's is better across the board. Mobley is much better at creating a shot for himself has better assist numbers as well as the same amount of turnovers. Would we say that mobley is more consistent? For all the great shooting night jj has had, he has also thrown up 4-19, 1-12 ....also.

We get so blinded by our very high expectation of certain players(yao and steve) that we do not understand their importance to the team. Like someone said, if someone were to get a season ending injury who would it be. This is about value to the team not consistency. It has to be either steve or yao.

what will we have for next season?

    1. move steve to shooting guard. get somebody with better court vision, who can handle the ball well, and last but not the least, doesn't panic under a lot of pressure. I wonder if we can get steve nash as our playmaker.

    2. Cat will be the back-up shooting guard for steve. Cato will be backup center for Yao and mo-tayor will come off the bench as power forward. Thus, we will have one of the deepest bench in the league.

    3. We need a power forward who doesn't have to be a star, but can rebound and score. Ironically, kenny thomas is a good fit.

4.we need a primeter shooter. piakowski is a dissapiontment. That hurts us.

5.Develop Boki. The guy has the potential to be the next Dirk Nowiski.

Also, jeff van gundy needs to do a better job in coaching. But I believe the guy is smart and not as stobburn as looks like. and hopefully he will learn from his mistakes as well.

If all of those things come true. We will play in the western conference finals(or equivalent of that) next year.

I agree on this point, if SF3 is here next year I hope he get switched over to the 2 so he can be much more effective and have Cat come off the bench.

Jim Jackson for sure. After watching him this season I think the league should have a "Role Player of the Year" award. He'd win hands down.

I will add that JJ was MVP IMO, but Cattino made major strides this year in his growth. Unfortunately francis, he sucked over all. As I said in November, if we don't go further then 1 win in the first round, he's chopped chicken liver. Starting guard for NBSA all stars? ok, I guess. He's a major showoff and no point g. Maybe thye shooting 2 would work, how about rotating him with Cattino, hten we'd have a very deadly 2 with some solid guy at point. We'll see what les wants, won't we ? t

MVP? there is no MVP, MVP(erson) is JVG, E.Griffin break his whole plan but Rockets still touched playoff.
Yao, did a common job a 7'6' person have to do.
SF3, good in playoff but awful in the whole season.
JJ, the best player with unpardonable turnovers in playoff.
    Cato+Taylor are good, but individual......
Mobley, go to bench or leave houston!
