I'm surprised no one has done this yet-- but seeing as how we have just about an hour to tipoff of the first game, I think we might as well. Nothing more exciting than two game 7's in the same day.

In the first game, I have to go with the Bucks. They showed a lot of resiliency the other night coming from behind in Charlotte, and with the crowd behind them and a sense of new life, I think the Bucks with their tremendous offense advance.

In the second game, I'm taking the Raptors to stun the Sixers in Philadelphia. I've said it all year: the Sixers are the most overrated team in the league, and I think it shows today. Iverson will get his 40, but Carter will as well, and Carter has the teammates, esp. on the offensive end, that will get it done on the road for Toronto.

    Philly over the Raptors....

    Hornets over the Bucks.....

I want the Hornets to win, but the Bucks have the best shot of any Eastern conference team to knock off the Lakers, and I want the Lakers to be beaten badly.

    Oh Yes! A prediction thread!

    Hornets: 101
    Bucks: 106

Cassell hits a game winning three with 18 seconds left, and Allen puts the lead up to 5 with 2 free throws.

    Raptors: 81
    Sixers: 88

The Sixers are NOT overrated. You can't fluke 56 wins, even in the east. They will pull this one out in the fourth.

Raptors and Hornets are going to win.

I also need to say this...

There's nothing quite as exciting as watching Kevin Johnson and PJ Carlesimo argue.

    YAWN!!!!!!!

What the hell was NBC thinking when they hired these 2 robots?

Bucks. Sixers. Homecourt is huge in Game 7s. Still they should both be great games.

THIS is the greatest time of the basketball season, to me. 2 game sevens - the Bucks great PG, SG, and SF vs. the Hornets great PG, SG, and SF, and Iverson v. Carter. And the 2 best teams in the NBA going at it in the Spurs and Lakers.

Carter will come up big in this game. Why? Because he just got his degree, and will carry the energy into the game, to show people it is not wrong for him to attend the ceremony before the game. It will be close.

I already had Milwaukee going to the Conference Finals so that is academic. I knew that Charlotte blew their chance in Game 6. Even though it will be a close game, I think the 76ers will prevail. Milwaukee over the 76ers in 6 to go to the Finals.

Raptors lost. Carter sucks. I was wrong. But at least I am right in saying Mashburn did not have enough fire to bring charlotte to Conference Finals.
