We Over Winning? Yeah... I just can't get excited for Wall. I mean if I had the option to watch Harden put it between his legs over and over and over again then shoot or Wall do the exact same thing. I'd choose Harden.
I don't think the The Era will last long at all. Oladipo is all but traded. He complained on the day of the trade and his agent sat him down and told him "You will get traded for a 1st at the deadline to a contender. Pretend you're happy to be in Houston so anyone trading for you doesn't worry about a diva attitude" The next day Oladipo posts positive social medial and starts saying he is so excited to be here. I don't buy it, he is a perfect fit for Miami and someone had been barking that name in his ear for a reason. Wall, lets be honest, we will trade Wall for a bag of chips. The Rockets will trade Wall for literally anything at this point the has a semblance of value or cap relief. I can think anyone the Rockets wouldn't trade Wall straight up for, aside from Blake Griffin and maybe Wiggins. Here is an article I found written a few months ago, it has Wall at #1, Westbrook at #2, and just for D-Rock, Aaron Gordon at #15 as the worst contracts in the league. Maybe we would send him back for Westbrook straight up as I believe Westbrook has taken the No.1 spot now. I wouldn't start branding this trio just yet knowing 2 of the 3 are no more than stop gaps. An interesting question is will Wood be here after the deadline? He's a borderline All-Star, and if the Rockets have intentions of trading Oladipo, I don't see how Wood is any different. I like Wood a lot, I think he can be a starter on a championship team. Problem is I don't think a team should throw big money at No.2 option if you don't have a number No.1. The Rockets will have to start extension talks with him next year if he is in the long term plans. Also, no telling how his frame will hold up. The body takes a lot more abuse when you're the focus of the defense vs the 7th option vs playing 15-20 minutes per game
I had no idea "Oladipo" apparently means "increasing/more wealth". Now it all makes sense. He's going somewhere else.
