He's getting $30 mil for being a fall guy. I could think of 50 other ways to be humiliated for half of that.

Unless Jack Easterby meets an untimely demise... the job belongs to Josh McCown.

We hired an offensive guru as our coach and promoted to gm after he failed to create a top 10 offense once in his tenure here.

Now they hire a writer coach who is sht at his job.

Like what is the criteria to being a coach?

Feels like it was only yesterday that "connected" radio hosts were hearing from "people in the organization" that it was going to be Frazier. And it was the day before when podcast host was saying Eric Bieniemy was negotiating a contract.

    These guys have no sources.

For the Texans you must be able to spout off the Apostles Creed, Hail Mary, Our Father and then give 3 random bible scriptures that define who you are.

Being a "good" coach is secondary - they want good "men" first.

They will be licking their crucifixes as soon as they hear Tim Tebow wants to be a coach.

That is the longest contract he would sign because he wants to run for president when he's done coaching.

I'd be the overall salary is pretty low, there may be options on those 5 years AND no matter what, there's a very very low chance he coaches out all 5.

BS. He wanted this job and was openly campaigning for it a week ago. He did not turn them down. Texans didn't hire him.

Also, there is no evidence for anyone on this message board that Eric Bieniemy is a better coach than David Culley.
