it's sill funny to me how people will hear a common idiom and decide to twist it in order to feign outrage.....and then not expect me to laugh at them for it.
Wow. To go through the heartbreak of the Oilers, to finally find IT, and then have ownership screw over the city again... We need to burn everything on Kirby, force them to leave, and then never think about having a football team in this town again.
Public opinion of the Texans is in the gutter. Not many people support the moves that the Texans management has made.
I know right? Deshaun is so woke, can't play for a dummy that gave money to Trump. So instead he wants to play for a team that is owned by someone who is friends with Trump and served in his administration. Or another team where the owner held big fundraisers for Trump in violation of Florida rules. YoU cAn'T sEpArAtE pOLiTiCs FrOm ThIs!
This organization is a dumpster fire and even you know why it's logical for Watson to want out. Watson will waste another prime year in Houston for sure with no picks and no free agents ever wanting to sign here.
Something Watson vocally supported A result of sticking with Watson's guy A result of sticking with Watson's guy.....and moves that were praised at the time because it allegedly helped Watson Going with what Watson thought was a good idea is what directly led to the downfall of the franchise.....so why would anyone think we need to listen to him MORE?
I understand the sentiment. It is scary to see franchise players have so much control over their preferences. But it's always been like that. The better you are, the more leverage you have. Teams have to keep their players happy. Mismanaged teams deserve the crap they get.
Yeah that's fair. Just saying it's not about Trump nonsense like this dude is making it out. Plenty of valid reasons but that's not one.
Winning is no where near his priority dude if his top choices are teams like the god damn Jets. It's becoming more and more clear he wants a bigger market and that is a direct insult to Houstonians.
This is the issue, because of his contract he's going to be hard to trade and the Texans will want a lot. Teams would want Lawerence because of that rookie contract deal and able to have their own franchise QB but who knows how good he's going to be. It's too bad Miami or the Jets don't have the pick because I could see that swap happening. For that reason we're a long ways off from a trade and if it does happen the Texans better get 3 first rounders and a couple of 2nds for it.
Deshaun Watson could net the biggest trade capital since Herschel Walker and the Texans will still find a way to f*ck it up because the Texans FO haven't shown they actually know what the f*ck they are doing.
Question - do you support the front office and ownership moves from the last three years? Ignore Watson wanting to go the Jets or wherever.
Trying to play "guess why he wants to go there" armchair psychology is a really stupid waste of time. It's an especially stupid waste of time to try and use it to tarnish character.
