Foot traffic. You go to get a vaccine, you realize you need some toilet paper, a pack of beer, and some Lobster
If you want green produce that rots the moment you leave the store, you shop Walmart. If you want to pay a 20% premium to get quality food, you shop Publix. Walmart, Target, Windixxie or Publics is your options. This is the way in Florida. There are no Krogers or HEBs or other quality superstores. Publix is reinforcing that brand.
Have you been to these mass vaccination sites? They are a mess. They will drive away all other customers. These vaccine folks take up all the parking and it is a traffic nightmare. Most people get the vaccine and go home right away since they are concerned about side effects. The mass sites should be at arenas and convention centers. I don't see the financial motive for a business like Publix. They already have a strong brand recognition in the South. If they are the main game in town for groceries, it will drive away a lot of customers who aren't there for the vaccine.
DeSantis looks like a kid I grew up with. Everyone called him a tittybaby because he would get mad about losing -anything- and run crying home to mama.
Got to stick up for Walmart, have had no issues with their produce, Grapes are always cheap and fresh.
