I’m not physically able to root for a team that’s not from my city. If things really got drastic I’d just stop watching but who am I kidding? As long as the Texans are the team from Houston I’ll have some vested interest. If browns, jets, and lions fans can do it for so long I can too. It’s going to be hard if we lose Deshaun though. I can’t think of another time a team lost a top 5 qb that’s so young and under team control. It’s a monumental **** up if it happens.
Me. too. I mean, I talk a lot of noise, but something in me is wired to "root for the home team". But, man--this franchise is a dumpster fire. I've never been so disinterested in the NFL.
I'll always root for the Texans, but I think I'll follow Deshaun somewhere. Not sure how the rank will shake out. I just can't fully emotionally invest in these Texans anymore with these owners and Easterby.
Ravens are my backup team. I'd go with WFT but... Dan Snyder. As soon as I can find someone to buy my PSLs I'm out.
If Deshaun gets traded, I'll probably follow his career, but won't exactly be a fan of whatever team he's on. I'll unfortunately, still be a Texan's fan.
I'll always keep an eye on Deshaun as a fan, but I think for me my football fandom has materialized in Sisyphus type penance and thus Im obligated to keep watching this dumpster fire. I wont like it. I'll complain alot and be called a fake fan or whatever, but Im from HTown. I have to ride or die with my teams. IF I did migrate for me it would be either the Saints or Titans.
